NotifyOSX 2

Use with Growl

growlnotifyosx

Daniel K. Bergey is the original creator of the display style aptly named NotifyOSX for Growl (download the original version here). I have been a fan of both Growl and NotifyOSX for quite a while. Growl is basically a framework (a way for applications to easily tell other applications to do something, for Growl; display something). In the same way as Daniel I use it to display various notifications; including incoming Mail, finished transfers, what track iTunes is playing, when I receive chat messages from friends and so on. It is very convenient.

NotifyOSX 2 version 1.2.2, 2007-10-12

This release includes:

NotifyOSX version 1.2.1, 2007-10-08

NotifyOSX 2 now comes in a disk image and with a separate Read Me-file. Users of version 1.2 need not update. No changes to the notification have been made.

NotifyOSX version 1.2, 2007-09-11

This version adresses the broken compatibility with Growl 1.1. The problem was the bundled version of NotifyOSX (version 1.0). Two display styles can not have identical names and since the bundled version is not in the standard plugin folder it does not get replaced when installing the newer version, thus rendering both display styles unusable. Problem was fixed by renaming this branch to NotifyOSX 2

NotifyOSX version 1.1, 2006-11-21

This is not the original NotifyOSX, this copy has been edited by Niklas Brunberg in order to fix a few bugs in the original release:
